2021 has been collectively challenging for most of us. I am happy to say that I had some personal and professional wins, and several of my favorite bright spots for this year include creative collaborations with the editorial team at the Entomological Society of America. The redesign of their flagship magazine American Entomologist (completed and launched in 2020) was well-received by the ESA membership, continues to be a delight to design, and this year also won a Communicator Award from the International Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts.
